Greg, Re the silence, think of it this way, they warn but then they also say that RDRAM is on track and the future looks very bright, yada, yada, yada...Sort of like, yes we are warning ST, but LT no problem.... What do you think the reaction would be? Not near as bad.... Now either they are: 1-not on track, or 2-they are not too savvy at investor relations. I chose #2. MileHigh

Greg, Hi!!! RE: The management has a record of trying to tame expectation, so there are just doing what they have always done, better to tell us before hand then to have it after the fact. The problem I have is there has been no CC or future out look, always silence. Yes....I appreciate the honesty in advance tooo...I don't recall who said this last night on the thread..but, I too don't believe many bought this stock for the next qt. or two or even three...I only bought it for one reason...Michael, Andrew Grove and Bill Gates bought it at the IPO and I'd like to think they know a great deal more about the future of technology than your average investor...
