First I have a question for all Etrade clients, how many IPO's have you gotten in the past? I got in on the EBAY IPO but did not get the Geocities IPO or the Concur technologies IPO. I am wondering if Etrade considers if you received an IPO previously or not.

Offie, I also trade at least 10 times a day with Etrade. I cannot believe that they only send an email and that is it!! I can understand Etrade wanting to "not play favorites" and do the round robin allocation, but it does not make good business sense to not give priority to someone such as yourself. The amount of money you have generated for Etrade in commissions SHOULD be the order in which your allocation is given. I am not saying the number of shares you get should depend on the amount of money you make for Etrade via commissions but it should put you at the front of the line for 100 shares.

It is just stupid for Etrade to give a user that trades once a year access to an IPO over a user who trades 1000+ times a year!!

I am an Etrade shareholder and am going to follow up on this, they need to change this policy.
