Too late for an edit. Just to be clear. I don't use previous dip bottoms as support lines so don't put any faith in my view about the 8700 line. I only mentioned it because that is all I see near the point you thought you heard Favors say. In other words according to the daily chart it is 8950 then 8550.

We might be able to correlate the SPX supports over to associated points in the DOW but it is too late to do math problems. <g> Easier to just switch over and watch the SPX or OEX.

Good Luck and lets pray for a bounce. Besides, the big money would never let January end lower. It is an old wives tail that would Jinx the market for the rest of the year. May as well give Denver another shot at the Super Bowl. Oooops
