Hmmm. May be a new way to get steel balls into orbit.

Hi Ray,

I hope they have a lot of room left before they hit their insurance cap because it's sounding like they'll be quite a while yet before they have this thing tamed and a replacement well drilled.

I wish them luck with the steel balls tomorrow cause they could be in for a whole lot of fun trying to pull that pipe later if they pump a bunch of steel in her and don't kill her.

<<If this fails I am told they will have to pull up the pipe and run smaller casing. I am not sure what this means but it will take at least three weeks.>>

Remember that the drillstring was left in the hole when she blew. Well, before they can run a casing string inside the existing casing they would need to "fish out" that drillstring (i.e. retrieve it, through the snubbing unit).

They obviously have some known and major problem with the existing casing if they are contemplating running another string.

<< Could be a while yet before this thing is plugged>>

Sounds as though it will be quite a while yet if they don't succeed with the steel balls tomorrow.

Are we going to be looking at penny stocks, again ??

Later,
