Going over the thread you seem the knowledge base person, is tomorrow the buying opportunity, or is the this seriously bad news, or just a profit squeeze? Is this IPO story for real and will it be the key?
I have read most all the posts and find this story rather exciting,
but see potentially serious risk if there is another shoe to fall.

one positive from your post:

Furthermore, Howie Balter, IDT's Vice Chairman and COO
was named the CEO of Net2Phone, and will lead the efforts to
finance and build the business as he has successfully done at
IDT.

hopefully they are positioning net2phone for the spinoff sooner than later.

.10 shortfall! That is going to drive a stake through the stock tomorrow. Weren't estimates for .16? Missed by more than 60%! Ouch.

>>For the current quarter, IDT expects that earnings will fall short of such expectations by approximately $.10 per share<<

Look for a bloodbath in the morning. .10 out of .16 will not be well received. Probably worth a mention on CNBC.This explains all the downgrades.

Looks like a buying opportunity.
