I have Internet Explorer 4.0 with SP1 (Service Pack 1)

It came with my Windows 98 disk

Running Stock Edge Beta 5.0 just fine

Thanks, Colin. That must be a factor. Fortunately I have a new computer arriving next week (the one with adequate PCI slots for a 3 monitor setup + the other things you need PCI slots for). So I think I'll wait to see what IE Explorer it has. Upgrading sounds a little dangerous :-) d.

Colin; re:5 beta & IE4.01 from last week. As my new computer is delayed, I went looking for an upgrade for IE 4.0 to download. Didn't find one & called Microsoft to complain; put thru to someone who asked me to read off my IE version info. (it came with Win 98 upgrade). He assured me that I DO have the very latest copy. And f'r sure beta 5 doesn't work properly on it! Very frustrating.
BTW, may I ask what you are beta testing for StockEdge? Not the Trade Station live internet feed, by any chance? Lucky devil. d.alexander
