Very good reading from some of the best minds on SI tonight. I couldn't help but do a headline posting for browsing... LU should be proud The stock will be sold at an all time high. It is now even more possible than ever! I think it will be impossible for us to ever judge this. ASND just skipped over middle growth, to mature company. Although to paraphrase the dynamic Richard McGinn, "LU is a $30B startup". ___________________________________________________ OG, well maybe. All they do there is the RAS/RAC business. The industry leading RAS/RAC business. But, maybe they just disband this, and stick with Livingston. You'd think that all of Cisco's employees were sitting within a mile of Tasman road I do not believe that ASND's innovativeness will be impaired at all by LU, rather I think that having the extraordinary resources of Bell Labs will actually accelerate things and allow more innovation to come to market faster. ____________________________________________________ Well, Cascade is on the east coast and they are a big part of the picture anyhow. Ascend has an office in Lucents home town. (I think) With modern, state of the art communications, what difference does it make where they are. Thats just that John Chambers philosophy again<g>.
