I do know that the Chief has been making pretty good calls on this and other issues. Last I knew he was maintaining a long position. He certainly has no responsibility to tell us whether he decides to reduce that but I suspect he would let us know; at least after. You are giving me too much credit again! I am a daytrader, I make the calls only because I am trying to make short term money. I can honestly say here and now that I will not reveal what I am doing with either longterm or shortterm accts. The only reason most know about my shortterm position is because I post it to my thread as a daytrade. One would only have to read over my posts...particularily the post on shorting BII to understand what both my long and short term position is for BII. The reason I decided to respond to your post Cush, is I don't want anyone to be using me as "some measuring stick of confidence" in a stock! I participate in threads because I find the exchange of information very interesting, that is why I don't mind hypster, naysayers or shorters ( the only thing I don't like is attitiude). It gives you a more informed perspective of the stock you are playing. Just a point to ponder When Mr. Pink was saying he felt this was the stock to buy. Many supported his message by praising his astutenesss and foresight. Why then, when he decides to liquidate his new message is it dismissed? I prefer to remain impartial whenever I can. Obviously all of us can get excited about a stock whenever it jumps quickly either way...long or short. But at the end of the day, it is time for rational thought seperate from these forums. Everyone must feel comfortable with there investments on their own, and must not feed on the frenzy, the threads can invoke. As I have mentioned before numerous times, I have no problem shorting stocks in a down cycle that I like long. The trick is to determine how long the downcycle will last, before going long again. Lastly, there is "no hidden message" in this dissertation, that should make you think for a second that I do, or do not like, the longterm for BII...the plain facts are I don't know!! I set numbers that work for me, move on when those numbers are hit, hang on until the numbers are hit, or sell when it is obvious the numbers won't hit. this message is not directed to you Cush, but the whole thread. the Chief
