Michael Jordan Isn't Retiring From Hot Deals.

From the article in today's Wall Street Journal, page B1 [Advertising]:

Oakley 1995-2005

The California new-wave eyewear manufacturer isn't interested only in Mr. Jordan's body. In exchange for $500,000 a year in fees and stock options valued at as much as $1 million a year, it is using his image in print ads and tapping his brainpower as a member of Oakley's board. His involvement is based on "his business acumen and innate sense of style," says a spokeswoman.
....................

However, they don't get exclusive use of his brainpower - Oakley is one of thirteen listed as corporate allies of Mr. Jordan (and that's just the short list).
Who's tapping whom?
