True fast is better, but no matter how fast we get used to it. Think of Windows on a 386SX we used to put up with that, we did not know any better. Now we are spoiled by our PII's with MMX. If someone puts us on a 486 DX2 we get mad at the wait and start looking around and tapping our fingers. We could care less how much faster the 486 is over the old 386. We want that Pentium and we want it all the time.

I have friends that are already running with ADSL and they complain how slow it gets when traffic is heavy. Everything is relative. I'm sure any thingeven at its slowest would be faster than your current 28.8 modem.

Happy upgrades
