>>want to place a bet on whether or not Amazon announces a secondary offering along with their quarterly loss report on the 22nd?<<
Yes, they have to do secondary offering. But they will try to drive up their stock price before they do that. Loss in last quarter is not an issue anymore. But what is going to happen if they say (or hint) they will make some money this quarter? This may get crowds excited again. They may say, oh, today they make one cent a share and this proves their business model is sound, and tommorrow they will make $10 a share. Unless management predict loss will continue at current rate, this 'Thing' still has life. So be careful.

Hey Glenn, want to place a bet on whether or not Amazon announces a secondary
offering along with their quarterly loss report on the 22nd?

KIS,

I do not wish to bet; I agree.

The question is, how can the "offshore" investors get into the country to collect their 5
billion dollar warehouses when Amazon inevitably defaults on their junk bonds? I would
suspect that most of them do not want to have to face customs agents.

I suspect they sold their to others and that money is now in other securities:-)
