I think we can all endeavor to be more civil. It would be a shame if 20 years from now history were to view the Internet primarily as a force that accelerated the demise of civility.

Not to give you investment advice, I would buy some deep out of the money puts on CPQ for insurance. I share McNealy's view that besides DELL none of the PC makers will be able to make money consistently and profitabbly. Most of CPQs high margin business (selling PCs to large Corporatins at high premiums to the street prices) is already coming under pressure and I don't think Digital gives them much competitve advantage over Sun or HP or IBM in the server market.
