By Brazil solved I meant the IMF funding package late last year which helped ameliorate the global debt crisis and brought credit spreads in, like AAA 10 year CMBS from 210 over to 140/135 over currently. Obviously, Brazil has to get its fiscal house in order but the devaluation was the right thing to do it just should have been one step and not two (ie, they should have skipped step 1). Note the Brazilian stock market was up even in dollar terms yesterday!!! Mike, you know I like you and truly think you know your stuff in certain areas like closed end funds, but by bulls making money I meant the market is up like 10 or 20 fold since the 80s and that the market goes up on average like 2/3 of the time. Also look at bullish funds v. bearish funds, or even in hedge funds. P.s. You and Fred Hickey have hated Dell since it had a market cap 1/10 of what it is currently and Alan Abelson is a good writer but not a clear thinker as he has no ability to allow changing circumstances to change his thought process. He is also a tool for the shorts and gets used regularly. Finally, did you ever buy Sano way back when? It got bought out by Elan for a three bagger!! Regards - HH
