So you enjoy arguing over grammatical details... have you encountered Yamakita? You would amuse one another immensely. I blush to admit that I have no formal training in grammar at all, and that I am unable to articulate any of its rules. This makes me a miserable debater of minutiae, though I am pretty well aware of what pleases my ear, and sufficiently arrogant to impose it on others. I do hope, for joe's sake, that he doesn't think you and E are one person (he referred to you as "Ms. E"). The two of you rolled into one would be.... a bit much for him to manage. Or for anyone, for that matter. Steve
