Trader J Glad you brought that up again.. We have a specialist program on stocks and an IPO program starting up. I would like to throw out to the thread an other idea which I think can help us to get more involved in DD and may be take it to another level....I'm not saying right now but something to think about and add ideas to...... We come from all parts of the States and the world as a matter of fact. My suggestion is that everyone find one public company that is in their area were they live...A specialist would have a stock to follow and a Co. to follow. This specialist would now be able to visit the co and attend any meetings or possibly any shareholders meetings. It could be a small co or a large one. One in your back yard, or one that you could travel to. Get to know their investor's relation dept and possibly meet with upper management. I've done this a couple of times and you will be surprise at what you can learn. Smaller cos are more willing to take the time and show a future investor or present investor, what the co is all about..this is not for everyone but I'm sure that we have some people here that would be interested in trying this out. We could have our short,position,Day Trades and add a list of possible long term holds. I believe that a lot of us will be here on this thread for a long time to come. I'm new to trading (couple of weeks) and to SI (a week maybe). Been watching for a couple of weeks more. The post from Banchee caught my eye and interest. I have very little experience in trading and DD but am interested in learning much more and participating in this thread. I'd like to be involved with the research you describe if someone can give me a quick lesson in "How To...". To start with I'd only want to research one stock to see how it works and to get some constructive criticism. I like under $10.00 stocks for the most part. This is a very good thread and I appreciate the information I've been able to recieve from reading it. Now it's time for me to get involved - if I can be of any service to the group. Thanks dfund
