You missed my point. The point is as a trader you could have made more than 900% on your money in AMD trading the proper way.

Charles, you are talking to an AMD thread that will not give up on the
"potential" of AMD. They have suffered many "humiliating" quarters and
surprise announcements from Jerry Sanders ... These people (Brian, Jim,
Maxwell, Ali, Krash, ...) all have AMD "blinkers" (rose colored, I believe).

I will agree that AMD is not much of an investment...however it IS a decent trading stock. It goes up and comes down. Buy on the lows, sell on the highs.

Anybody that INVESTS in AMD has their head in the clouds. Trading this stock, on the other hand is fine. Just ask Paul and Elmer.

Intel on the other hand is both a good investment AND a good trading stock.
