Netware for small biz Funny isn't it that when MSFT is going for one OS across all potential users, distinguishing only between workstation and server, and then adding on for specific application purposes, Novell still has a 4.2 around. You certainly have identified the kind of products I would like to see developed. I remain very disappointed with Novell's entire attitude toward ecommerce, direct sales, and small server systems. In fact I don't see an attitude. I see neglect. I also have no confidence that Schmidt understands what drove the PC industry. He came out of the UNIX environment. THese guys got their break when corporations went client/server and bought their heavy metal premium priced UNIX boxes. He has hired enterprise focus types exclusively. Where is anyone that understands what is driving Amazon? Or for that matter Nt. Also he is reaching the stage where he probably has a swollen head from all the press and pat on the back types. Not good in my opinion for a company that has a lot of work ahead of it. As Andy Grove said, only the paranoid survive. Wake up Schmidt!
