The north shore of long island is beautiful this morning, Joanna. A fine day to stay at home and watch the world outside the window, or inside the flat panel display, as the case may be. On days's like today, the thought of waiting for the train to Manhattan makes shivers run down my spine. I think I'll just sit here all day long and wait for the next batch of hot chocolate to make it across the cottage to the library, wondering how many trees will fall in the woods and whether they'll make any sounds without me.
