One thing to note about the auction count: on January 4, the EBAY auction count was up to 1,307,000. The current count is only 1,600+ above this amount. For the last 11 days, the auction count has hovered between 1,250K and 1,310K. Yahoo auctions are now up 14.5% since January 4 (when I started tracking the counts day by day). I readily admit that the Yahoo count is still too low to be of significance, but it will be interesting to see if these trends continue.
