Red: IBD does seem to be "a bit worried" about the market in general. I must have calculated the 50-day MA on the DOW incorrectly because IBD said that it closed right at that level. They also said that JPM, AXP, MRK and ALD have now closed below the 50-day and if they don't snap back it's big trouble. They're also worried about a change in the pattern of NSDAQ consolidations - they were "high and tight" until this week and now look "wide and loose." IBD seems to be taking this as a "correction", rather than "consolidation."

I don't believe the futures! I figured everyone already knew that Brazil was going to end up floating their currency, so what's the news? My thoughts are that this whole Latin American financial crisis will only serve to speed up the move toward the "global central bank" which many (including me) think is the way to go. This will all turn out positively in the end.
