*OT* BTW, IBM is a nice indirect e-commerce play.

I'd say it's a great direct e-commerce play - that's one of Gerstner's key initiatives. Combine that with all of the Y2K refits and I'd say IBM will have great legs from here. I've been thinking that for 2 years now, only wish I had acted on it sooner. :-)

Hey Amsterdam --

Glad you nailed it on IBM. I clearly underestimated them. I expected a bounce off $150, but Greenspan reinflated the market for all of us. I was riding SUNW and ORCL instead. Well we all made money. Now he wants to pop the bubble. Wish he'd make up his mind.

Oh, almost all of us made money. Except you die hards in JDEC. Sorry.

BTW, anybody care that JDEC has ZERO referenceable sites on UNIX? Gee wonder why ;)

JDEC is a one trick pony -- AS400. Their open systems story is vapor.

Later.

P.S. Yes, 28.8 sucks in a really big way! Has dramatically reduced my volume. Probably just as well for y'all, unless you read Jokes daily.
