I use DLJ. Have not upgraded yet. However, I have not experienced an outright outage during trading hours like E-Trade, Scottrade, Datek, and Suretrade ALL have. If you want a great trading system a friend of mine recommends MBTrade. Costs alot. But if you are full timers, it would be worth it. Otherwise I think the extra$$ for DLJ is worth it.

don't pinch pennies...if you're a trader, (days to weeks, typically)
go real time...ive used datek and etrade..busy servers, busy phone lines..last friday, i wanted to lighten up in LEH (100 shares)...stock was at 59+...tried to trade at 3:58...couldn't get in...stock is at $47...so i'm out $1200 in profit...how many times does that need to happen to make up monthly fees and higher commissions? I'm not a daytrader, but the math works for me...
