Mark I know its just a matter of evidence. Contemporaneous ex parte notes are better than nothing, but pity that Ezra's originals, Smith's golden tablets, and Moses' slabs were not examined by certified documents examiners before being raptured or thrown out in the trash. That's why I want the tapes (video if possible). Experts can detect fakery, 18 minute dropouts and the like. We all want more solid evidence of wonderful things, we just have different amplitude organs of credulity. Mine is so shriveled that I don't secrete enough to credit such recountings at all. Not a matter of will, just sullen Missouri nature. I don't doubt people's faith in these things, but regret that all revelation deals with matters largely irrelevant and unprofitable except to people in the religion racket. I want tomorrow's closing prices (together with daily range), plans for new microprocessors, football scores, words for hit songs and other information too precious for words and only known to God. The old-time religion is good enough for me, but I want tomorrow's financials.
