the bastards

But it's a common story: once a company is built to
substance, the founders come to be considered
their company's greatest asset AND worst liability
by MBAs with severe sexual tension problems.

Not just IBM,,, unfortunately.

If you believe in Nothing,
Nothing will believe in YOU.

After the last time it happened to me, I decided
any company with more than 50 people is too big.

I'm long MVIS --- even submit the proxies. I get
the sense that the MVIS boys are less nieve. I think
Rick and Todd will hold their chairs until retirement.

:))

We got the same treatment from Colgate. We had a company developing a "Just for Kids" line of toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc... Everything went very well. We needed money. One of our board members knew the Chairman of Colgate. Colgate duplicated and confirmed all our research which was fabulously positive ... and then refused to fund.

Today you can go look in your grocery store and you will see "Just for Kids" scrawled across their tooth paste.

... but oh, no, that name just popped up in that other division ... no idea how it got there ... and no, we will not fund. Sue us if it will make you happy.
