Many believe there are eternal truths that are not relative or subject to perspective and evidence.

Any system of beliefs must have axioms. These are the truths which are assumed true on no basis but provide the building blocks on which the rest of the system is founded. A good example is the 8 axioms of plane geometry figured out by Euclid 3000 years ago (Example Parallel lines never meet). There is no way to prove them, but all of plane geometry is proved from them.

The problem comes in picking a set of axioms which will provide a framework that does not lead to absurd proofs. The Do unto others as you would have them do unto you axiom has proved mostly successfull since the Sumerians almost 4000 years ago. The Tit for Tat strategy has also proved sucessfull. Variation on the psycic hotline have only been successful for the psycic.

So, Yes there is TRUTH because we must define something or our whole world view shifts uncontrollably. The question is how solid is that truth and whether one person can or should force another to accept a certain definition.
