Intel is no longer a value stock.

The P/E > 30 and the price/book > 5, so after 2 years in the contest, it is no longer eligible.

See Fred Fahmy's comments at Message 7297171.

Clearly, Intel was down mainly due to the entire market getting hammered. In addition, one has to assume that there are going to be spells of profit taking along the road to higher prices. Personally, I think that is very healthy for us long term investors. A slow methodical gradual rise, with give and take, is much more sustainable and realistic then a rocket trajectory. If there is one thing that separates genuine Intel investors from the get rich wanabees, it's patience. It's always good to remember that Intel is a get rich slow stock <g>. There are definitely harder ways to make good money then just being patient.
