These digital guys probably haven't seen a Smith Chart.

And they thought the RF guys weren't needed anymore.

Ian, >>>Speaking as an electronic engineer, I belive that Rambus have (or will soon have)
a patent on the application of a *fundamental* piece of physics to memory
technology.<<<

Transmission line theory and application has been used for layouts of printed circuit boards for CPUs, caches and other highest speed parts of computers for decades. Why a patent just because it's used for memory? Just curious.

Tony

Hi Ian,

thank you for the input on RMBS's speed principle.
But you are wasting your time explaining it to Honkers,he's a low life lawyer, probably doesn't know a microamp from a hairdryer. He is so gutless he resorts to sending people completely misguided insults per private mail.
I will not answer him, and hope he crawls back in his hole soon

Alan
