Dear Mark, IMO God speaks to people all the time we just do not hear. It is a gentle whisper or go this way, be careful etc.. Maybe in the form of our conscience. The problem is when so many say that God has told them what other people should do and that has produced very bad results. The determination for me that what I have heard is from God is the fruit of it. Does it make mine and the people around me lives better and does it reflect His ways from the Bible?
