It tells me that a truckload of those MMs have been writing uncovered calls like crazy for the last 3 months- it's the closest thing to winning the lottery that has yet been invented. They dont put up any cash, and just sit back and watch it pour in. While the stock kept skyrocketing, that is. Now that it turned on them, I firmly believe there are millions and millions of dollars of naked positions all the way out through april and these MMs dont know how to get out with their shirt intact. The first step is to try to manipulate the stock price, and if that doesnt work they can just start defrauding the options players.

Marketwatch just started trading, first trade was over 100.

Looks like the retail frenzy speculators are not going anywhere.

May have to rethink my market psychology. Obviously these newbies still havent learned how to enter limit orders, and obviously they havent felt enough pain yet to stop their silliness.

(both of which are two factors that got amazon where it is today)
