Same thing happened when UBID started trading and MALL tanked. Then MALL ramped up again sometime later. I'm not sure of the time frame. Will have to go back and check the closing prices.

To use MALL/UBID as an example...

UBID started trading on 12/4/98
MALL started gapping down and seemed to have hit a low (around $18) on 12/11/98. Hit a high on (around $59) on 12/23/98. UBID did a similar price pattern hitting a low and a high at or around the same dates.

What does all this mean?
Heck, I dunno...but I guess one can surmise that if I see that DBCC is trading down 50% about a week from now...my trigger is gonna get itchy.
