Betty, a 150 point run in cmgi in two weeks has most likely skewed the technical meaning of simple moving averages, and exponential moving averages even more. Some momentum indicators may still work.

FWIW, my sense is that cmgi should close between 200-218 (presplit prices) based on prems the market makers were willing to sell the Jan 200c the day before the split ... before both the option and equity went haywire. 200 was my expectation where the stock should attempt to hold at expiry, that the MarketWatch IPO would come out on the same day not withstanding.
