<OT> jhg_in_kc, The fact that Brazil has let it's currency fall is a major positive. I had a discussion with CTC on this and related topics in November in this thread. The S.E. Asian countries recovered rapidly once the devaluation was out of the way (as did Britain in the early 90's). That Brazil doesn't have to waste it's capital fighting speculators and do not have to kill it's economy by pushing up interest rates implies to me that a quick recovery will follow and has relieved my concerns a lot. I have started to redeploy my cash but no margin yet. -Apratim.
