If indeed BF is sitting on an embarrassment of riches for 4Q, lets hope he guides the analysts higher in the next few weeks. It's not good to let the analysts be embarrassed come earnings day.

Marc,

I believe BF uses the NOL when it best serves the company. If the company needs additional capital in a quarter for something (Additional product, acquisition, etc.) it may be prudent to use more. If not, then use less, and if it helps with earnings, than so be it. I was following this company right after it had nothing but loss after loss.

BF knows from past mistakes with THQI what to do and not to do. If he seems conservative at times, it is because of the past. I applaud his management style, and I also believe that he would not have made the bold and excited statements that he did at the October Earnings Conference call if he didn't know that he could beat this quarter numbers and next years numbers. Time will tell, but I expect we will all be surprised when 4th quarter results come in (JMHO).
