They could choose the jury nullification route. This would be for them to say "I don't care if he did it, and I don't care what the law says, I don't think he should be removed for this offense."

He has been impeached by the House. Now the Senate will vote on the Articles of Impeachment. If convicted, Bubba will automatically cease to be President. Ya-hooooooooooooo! If acquitted, the Senate could still vote to censure, but it would be a hollow gesture. JLA
