Real Networks Screams By Lisa J Ulmer, CBS MarketWatch Last Update: 6:00 PM ET Jan 15, 1999 See Internet Daily SEATTLE (CBS.MW) -- RealNetworks Inc. shares screamed up 10 percent Friday after the provider of online media streaming software moved to offer At Home Network customers high-quality multimedia programming. The developer (RNWK) of such products as RealAudio, RealVideo and RealPlayer leaped 4 15/16 to 55 after it said it's adding "high-capacity infrastructure capabilities" to its software to distribute higher-quality music videos, news clips and sports highlights over At Home's (ATHM) network. Both companies said they also want to sell multimedia ads and pay-per-view programming. Shares of At Home fell 5/8 to 102. "We expect that this... will stimulate entirely new content experiences as publishers take advantage of the platform's delivery capabilities and cost savings," said At Home's chief executive Tom Jermoluk in a statement. The companies expect the high-quality programming to be available sometime in the fourth quarter

We got you out. Now we want you back in and back in with both feet, galoshes and all. We have a lot of latent power in the VTAR © numbers and we are going to make some money for you. Do you like money? Is it better than not having money? Will the money we make here buy you kid that new "Vette" she so urgently needs at Johns Hopkins? You will know all those who follow VTAR ©because their kids at college all drive yellow Vettes and their kids can't tell you what the inside of a Wal-Mart looks like…and it is STOCKS like this that will do it for the little brat.
