Teknor rolls CompactPCI SBC

Boca Raton, Fla. - The TEK-CPCI-1004 from Teknor Industrial Computers Inc. is a jam-packed Pentium-based CompactPCI single-board computer with an entry-level price tag below $2,000. Featuring a 100-MHz front-side bus, it's available with a choice of processors: Socket 7 and Super 7 Pentiums at 133 and 166 MHz, and MMX Pentiums at 200 and 233 MHz.

The 1004 comes equipped with both EIDE and Ultra Fast/Wide SCSI; a pair of 10/100 Base TX Ethernet interfaces; a PMC expansion site; 64-bit AGP graphics supported by 2 Mbytes of Rambus; two USB ports; and serial, parallel, keyboard and mouse ports. A PCI/PCI bridge allows control of seven PCI I/O boards.

The 1004 costs $1,830.
