Just a couple of companies to keep your eyes on as the next good buys (some are cheap):

Ciena
Newbridge
Fore
Cabletron

But these companies are in play right now. With Lucent buying up Ascend, these companies are next to be gobbled up but some Telecom giant.

Cisco wants to buy someone.....whether they need to is your guess.
