ANYBODY OUT THERE...

By the time you go through those 8540 posts...and these thousand or so. You will know all we know...but the more you know the further you go. These threads are the Book On CheckFree and the amazing chapter it is writing for electronic commerce in the 20th Century and Beyond. Un-edited of course...and bullishly biased.

But to answer that guys post #1...Yes!...THE WORLD

Jim: Welcome to the CKFR thread. We're all longs here. I suggest the following if you want to get up to speed fairly quickly.

Start with CKFR's most recent SEC filings -- the 10K and most recent 10Q. They contain exceptionally lucid explanations of CKFR's business strategy, and also of the risks involved. Not just boilerplate. And I think I speak for all of us here when I say you can trust CKFR management -- one reason CKFR is my biggest holding is that I have found Pete Kight's conference calls to be conservative, honest and truthful -- even, especially, when the truth has hurt a bit.

Next, listen in on the next conference call. Click "earnings" here to get the date -- someone will post the 800 number for you to call. I find the calls quite informative. There's always a recorded replay available if you can't dial in at the exact time.

Follow the posts here -- I think there are very few news articles about CKFR or related subjects that don't eventually get linked here.

And when you have time, skim through the old posts. The first 1,000 or so may be the most informative about the basic business and some of the strategic decisions made in the last couple of years. You will quickly learn which posters usually provide the most information. One is Robert Gintel, who seldom posts but whose mutual fund -- the Gintel Fund -- owns a sizeable chunk of CKFR.

Hope this helps.
