I was wondering the same thing. Everything happened in the last 1/2 hour.

BTW, can we get a more objective opinion on msft in court than Don Crabb? Lol

Maybe the fed is pumping more money in order to try and avoid the inevitable...

My God, what happened? up 8, and Cisco up 5! Great day!

I think the shorts have been covering and the momentum investors are jumping
in. I sold half of my Jan 145 at the close 3:59 at 4 3/8. Sold a quarter during
the day at 3/4; and excercised the last 1/4 of my options. Decided to
average it out.

The only thing i was right about this week was the great rally in the
stock late day. Tuesday is going to be great!! Watch for more short covering.
The earnings report is going to create a lot of fear in them. Then there is
the fear of stock split announce which could push this stock out of sight on
Wednesday and beyond.

BTW--I signed on to AOL (30 day trial). The menus suck but my ATT service starting
giving me problems lately. I think that rumor about AT&T purchasing MSN internet Access is
true. They took over MSN's access business in Canada. Maybe that could
have been part of their meetings last fall. MSFT probably just wanted to sell off
parts of their internet access business in countries where it just did not make business
sense to keep offering.

Just a normal day for a G&K portfolio. Now that were through expiry we can resume the ramp. I think Mr. Softee's going to moon the Street on Tuesday and show them why his company deserves to carry a much high valuation <g>.

I'm in Boston for a few weeks and we got 7 inches of snow last night. I've been away from the snow country for 18 years, so I thought it was fun, even shoveling out the driveway. By next week I'll be eager eager to get back to Silicon Gulch and hit some balls.
