H&R is not a "plain vanilla" (or any other sort of) accounting firm.

Perhaps some other accounting firm would better support your view.

Are they a collection agency? If so, they likely get a percentage of what they recover -- again, supporting my view that in general, public companies have a better plan than getting paid by the hour.
