I thought the post by Hans-Erik was excellent as well. It's the kind of post that keeps me reading this thread. I agree. It's the kind of post that distinguishes this discussion thread from most you find on the Internet (including newsgroups and Yahoo). A number of years ago, I subscribed to Compuserve because of the technical support areas there for many companies. You usually got solid information in those areas. When things migrated to the Internet (newsgroups and areas like SI) it seemed that the intelligence to noise ratio plummeted. SI is one of the few areas where I can follow discussion without having to sort through a lot of incorrect "information", juvenile name calling, or epithets.
