Older people who shouldn't be driving get in their cars everyday and make a choice to drive with impaired responses. People who are over-tired do the same. Overly fatigued people kill 1000's of real live people a year- they have made a choice. Now, as for your "entire picture:" A fetus in the first trimester does not look like that. To whom do you wish to show your pictures? To all women? Or just the ones in the later months of pregnancy? And what result do you wish to accomplish? Do you wish mothers who do not want their babies to keep them? For I guarantee you those children will be abused. A high percentage of them will become criminals. Then you can decide to kill them after they have committed a crime (are you for capital punishment?) Much better to force women to have babies they do not want and create a class of unwanted children. Such a good idea. Perhaps we should saturate the nation with family planning literature and contraceptives? Should we make contraception mandatory? If we can force a woman to carry a child we can certainly force her to have depo- provera, right? THAT would take care of abortions. Now how about drugs and alcohol? That child might be harmed by those right? Lets lock up those moms with drug and alcohol problems so they don't harm those precious fetuses. And we'll have to screen all women several times a year to catch those pregnancies, won't we? Because we don't want to lock up just the high profile cases- we want to protect everyone. Just how intrusive do you want to be? And what do we do? Do we criminalize abortion? Death penalty for the Doctor and the woman if they are caught? I guess if they are caught in time you'll only fry mama after she delivers that precious bundle.
