Hi everyone:"Market pioneers create markets and develop demand. Eventual second entrants who copy the original are EXPECTED. Market pioneers get better ROI and better brand recognition." I agree with your point above ONLY if PNL already created market and developed demand. As of now, the market is STILL being created and demand has yet to be seen. Until V3 is ready and the support infrastructure is completed, second entrants can still get ahead if PNL is not careful about holding their cards to their chest. Remember, the most efficient way to beat your competitor is to get hold of his/her battle plan before the battle even begins. "At the risk of sounding glib, doesn't PNLK already have product?" PNLK may have a product; but it is still being modified to fit what the customers truly want. Customers' feedback from existing customers, beta users, and strategic alliances are very important proprietary information that PNL management can use to design a truly functional Webtool that importer/exporter will feel right at home to use. The goal of the Webtool is to increase efficiency of the customers and to simplify their red tapes. Customers will use the Webtool if they see the added value in using it. As of now, because V3 is not completed yet, IMHO, it is foolish to divulge any additional information surrounding the Webtool just to please the impatient investors."Don't you think that any potential competitors of PNLK are already copying their service and making improvements?" If competitors are coming abroad to play this game, they will need to know what the customers want in order to build a functional Webtool for them. They cannot simply try to copy someone else idea and start making improvements on their own without relying on customers' feedback. Therefore, any information PNL management has that is the result of their own research from customers, beta users, and strategic alliances must be kept secret until the final product embodied all these information. So, when V3 is out and if customers are crazy about it, competitors will then start the copy cat process. But by then, PNL will truly have a head start from all the wanna be. And brand name recognition will be in PNL's pocket. "I mean, isn't PNLK already on the road getting business?" IMHO, PNL is on the road getting business by trying to sell prospective customers the power of V3. All the competitors may not have any idea of what V3 is all about. Thus, they cannot copy what they don't know. On top of that, the support infrastructure PNL management is building is also a strategic business plan to solidify PNL's foothold in the import/export market. Until this infrastructure is in place, it is unwise to announce to the world who and where PNL is approaching to build its support system. If competitors get the blue print of PNL's business plan and see the validity of it, they may jump ahead and try to beat to the door of the very people PNL's management is approaching. That is why I feel this is very important that until any deal is finalized and signed, nothing should be announced."IMO, I simply don't buy this reasoning at all. They have already pulled the trigger here." They may have pulled the trigger, but the gunpowder that drive the bullet is still not strong enough. As of now, it is wise to keep the new formula for the more stronger gunpowder secret until it is proven and is available for mass market. "They raised cash and they are making product. Yes, they are making improvements, but I can't beleive they are doing it in a vaccuum!" From my discussion above, you can see that, IMHO, PNL is making improvements based on customers' feedback, definitely NOT in a vaccuum."So you can better understand where I am coming from, I found a presentation based in part on, market pioneers. The link below will open up to slide presentation." Until PNL has a valid product that is highly demanded by customers, PNL is still NOT YET a market pioneer. And that is exactly why current price is so low. The bet now is that PNL will become the market pioneer. And if they do, we will all be rich! Right now, I have placed my bet and is prepared to see through the whole battle. Unlike other, I am not moving my bet back and forth between other companies. Hate to see the train runs off without me when I return to the PNLK train station. OK everyone, as far as the bet goes, to each his own. Prosperity to ALL! Btw: Warren, thank for the NYC update.
