EGRP, I don't use their site, but I'll buy the stock. why? It's analgous to AOL. As an ISP its crap, but its brand recognition, as someone ele pointed out. I'm gonna play the same strategy w/ online trading. I would never trade with ETrade, just as I cancelled my AOL acct. 3 years ago. But the mass public will happlily use etrade. That's my reasoning, let see if it works. I sold my AOL too early by 'knowing too much', this time I will think what will the masses use, not what I would use. But I think users get saavy after time, and will not use AOL. Just my opinion. However, I think funds will start to invest in AOL so it will go up. So I'm not talking about aol stock anymore. I think AOL as a service will not live up to peoples expectations, but the stock could, as long as there are buyers.
