Hi fellow AIMer's, I will be setting up my Newport and PCA software today. I'm sure there will be many questions for all of you just around the corner. Will start with this one.

Since I already have a portfolio that knowingly does not have enough cash reserve to work the system properly, Is it wise to take a holding and sell 1/3 to 1/2 and then enter it into the software as a starting point? Assuming what I sell is some what close to break even.

Thxs
Keith

Hi Rob, In the IIT example, it would appear that you entered the Sell order at $14-7/8 as a "buy" by mistake. Am I reading this wrong? That was one heck of a string of buys in 1998. Nice to see that you have had a chance to start the Cash Rebuild process. We can't ignore the Savings and Loan divisions of our Equity Warehouses!

GUMM is beginning to look like a "poster stock" for AIM! Nice job. I hope you don't mind, but I put a link to your examples at my "AIM Sites" page. I also added logos for some of the other AIM related pages. ( execpc.com )

Did you like my Cognex example this week? I'm back to an all time high portfolio value on that stock and own 70% more shares than I did when I started! That bodes well for the future!

Congratulations,
Tom
