Thanks Peter,

We do seem to track/hold similar stocks. Also got into some chips in Oct. at lows - LSI and VLSI. Chip recover should be expanding into the secondary players, and eventually tertiary types such as VLSI.

Ciena (I been watching this one for a while -- wanted to grab some on Weds in the 13's-- missed it!)

Newbridge (I monitor it as ATM player)

Fore (gulped on some at 9 3/8's......dirt cheap as they say =;-)

Cabletron (been in and out of this one without losses....but the lack of management tells me to avoid it for now).

Regards,

QuadK

I heard NN and possibly Ericsson? FORE is a strange one based on the fact that their board and officers seem to want to march to their own tune indefinitely. With ASND going out it will probably heat the sap in the tree a little bit. Interesting list with possibly 3COM being added as in play with LUCENT and/or Cabletron to the same. Of course this is all just rumors and my humble opinion. It is not meant to be taken as investment advice. ETC, ad nauseam.....

PS. I am ticked I missed the buy op at 17 3/4-18 the other day.
