Check this out, IOM takes gets away with the goods and takes no responsibility for the product. Sounds like they got syquest pregnant and don't have to assume any responsbility.

Reseller,

You posted that no one is buying volumes of Imation's drives and then referenced retail sightings. What is your insight as to OEM sales? Imation claims substantial success in that area. I believe they claimed sales of 500,000 units in a recent quarter.

Iomega has been selling Zip drives to OEM's at a small loss per drive. Syquest average loss per drive was very large. Can you comment on Imation's average loss per drive?

Can you provide a rational argument that Imation will withdraw from the floppy market during the next year?
