SUNW CEO on 60 minutes. Didn't you notice that SUNW went up alot after Sun's CEO appeared on 60 Minutes? And what was the substance of the 60 Minutes piece? It was about how Sun was standing up to MSFT. >THEY ARE COMPUTER PEOPLE NOT FINANCIAL MAVENS. You'd be somewhat surprised. Given that they are all relatively young, live and work in Silicon Valley...they invest in a broad range of tech companies. Software, hardware (chip equipment, semiconductor) internet, and on and on. Many of their friends work in these tech companies and when the word of a good quarter circulates at lunches...they buy these companies.
