I live in Vancouver BC and am fortunately on "intouch.bc.ca". A small company with great access. I tried AOL 2 years ago, it was not good.

Hi, Hubert! How are you?

I've had mixed results with IBM, which is heading over to AT&T. Sometimes the service is terrific; sometimes it drops me on my head while I am doing something very active, such as checking e-mail and reading articles in The Times simultaneously.

Their customer support tends to be very good. One gripe: If one is having trouble logging on, the last thing one wants to hear while trying to get customer support is a disquisition on the many forms of help available on-line!
