Hi MrsNose maybe we can put two posts together;

The various physical characteristics exhibited by the three large gem
diamonds (10.82, 8.42, and 6.04 carats) recovered from the kimberlite
are
completely consistent with those observed in smaller stones from all
size
fractions.

Would this help? Shows consistancy throughout the sample.

gg cox,

Dr. Malcolm E. McMcallum has been working in the diamond industry
since 1964. He was a professor at the Colorado State University from
1962 to 1995. He has been a co-author on many technical papers in
partnership with the best diamond mind - John Gurney. He has also
worked directly on other NWT kimberlites and thus has the necessary
experience to judge the results.
